8th November 2013 is a tragic day for Filipinos. The strongest typhoon Hai Yan (a.k.a Typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines) ever recorded swept across their homeland with a maximum wind speed at 315km/h. Valuable lives, families and home are all gone on the day.
We are blessed as we are in Malaysia. Most of the time we are sheltered from all the natural disasters. Now is the time we can share our bliss with others. Natta Cosme is starting a charity fund raiser for Typhoon Victims. We can choose to donate RM10 or select any charity items under http://www.nattacosme.com/267-charity to purchase and the amount spent will be 100% proceed to charity. As a token of appreciation, for those who purchase/donate in this category will be entitle to get Natta Cosme Chinese New Year Angpau Pockets for FREE (While stock last).
The caterpillars and butterflies can help too. We spread the awareness of this fund raiser by Natta Cosme through blogging. We can rarely see any company give 100% proceed for charity and even given out token of appreciation for charity. We can help too! Spread your love now: Natta Cosme official website: http://www.nattacosme.com/ Natta Cosme Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/NattaCosme?ref=ts&fref=ts Thanks the butterfly project for helping in this!
I get to know about this Philips Innovation that Matters To You through The Butterfly Project.
Our mamasan, Ms Tammy, has blogged about it as a community project.
She believed in the power of social media, by sharing, we can gather more people to contribute their ideas.
This is important as we have the power to improve the our quality of living in Malaysia or even the whole Asia Pacific.
This contest in held internationally with Thailand, Indonesia,Singapore, Malaysia
Philips hopes to cooperate with individuals, communities and the public to make meaningful innovation come true in helping us live healthier, safer.
They are gathering ideas for healthier home and safer cities.
These are the best shelters for us and our families. Everyone deserves to stay in a safe environment that free from man-made threats such as road accidents, theft, robbery and etc.
Meanwhile, when people become busier in their daily lives, most people neglected their health.
Though the fertility rate is much higher than previously, the health crisis eventually turn out to be more severe too. Improve your living quality through your ideas.
1. Choose Healthy Homes/ Safer Cities, contribute your ideas.
Remember, the only 3 requirements of your idea are:
a. Realistic - should be practical and possible to achieve.
b. Sustainable: Long term viability and benefits.
c. Benefit many, not a few- the more people it benefits the better your chance of having your idea implemented.
Here is mine
I just think that food and water are the basic necessities for us to survive. Processed food or beverages we can get in the market might keep us alive but give our body nothing. Why not we process our food and water ourselves at home and having all nutrient consumed? Keep us healthier and saving money for not having meals out there.
2. How it works?
3. Give yourself a chance to win prizes from Philips
As one of the individuals who stand a part of Malaysia, we share our ideas to improve our own lives.
When your ideas can be beneficial to the others, they appreciate you too.
(Just remember, this is a bonus. Sharing is never meant for reward.)
Everyone who submit an idea stand a chance to win these awesome products of Philips
Grand prize for winning idea:
1 unit of Philips Viva Collection Airfyer (worth RM1199) Can I say I want this? :p
